e-Groups
Getting connected into a small group is a "must do" for every adult (married and single) at Emmanuel. Check out these different group opportunities.
Community Groups
SMALL GROUPS
Small groups consist of 8-16 adults in similar life stages who meet weekly or bi-weekly in homes and practice the ABCs: Accountability, Biblical teaching and Care. More than 70 groups currently meet throughout our area, growing in Christ and in friendship. Click here to sign up to join a small group.
HOUSE HUDDLES
These small groups meet as part of the well, our young adult community. Huddles are held on the weeks between monthly large group meetings (1st Thursday of each month). Experience community in a House Huddle in your area! Click here to sign up to join a House Huddle.
Joining Small Groups and House Huddles is open year round.
On-campus Groups
These group environments have a defined duration--between 5-11 weeks--and are held at the Emmanuel Greenwood campus. We have fall (starting in September) and winter (starting in January) sessions for on-campus groups.
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
Join with other men on an exploration of Biblical truth in a group environment. Choose from sessions on two weeknights or Sunday mornings.
WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
A women's Bible study session features large group experiences (usually using a DVD presentation) and small group discussion. Sessions are generally offered on one or two weeknights and on one weekday (weekday sessions offer childcare for an additional fee).
STARTING POINT
If you are new to the faith, are curious about it, or are re-examining what it means to have a relationship with God, this is the group for you. Starting Point meets for 10 sessions on Sunday mornings.
FOUNDATIONS
Foundations is a fresh, innovative curriculum about the essential truths of the Christian faith and how these truths are to be lived out in relationships, character and work. Sessions are on five consecutive Sunday mornings.
FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY
Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, Financial Peace University (FPU) presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are financially to where you've dreamed you could be. FPU meets for six weeks each in the fall and winter sessions.
MOM'S TIME OUT
If you're a mom, and you would like to belong to a group that provides encouragement in your current season of life, meets practical needs, builds on mothering skills and fosters healthy relationships, join us for Mom's Time Out.
MTO meets two Fridays per month, 9:30-11:30 a.m., August thru May. Registration fee: $20 per semester. Childcare provided. Click here to register for MTO.
